ATYP (AUSTRALIAN THEATRE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE)
atyp offers professional development workshops for teachers across a number of theatre genres and disciplines. Areas covered include Shakespeare, physical theatre, and devising group performance.

NIDA (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DRAMATIC ART)
NIDA’s Open Program assists teachers with professional development in all aspects of the creative and performing arts. Areas covered include Shakespeare, contemporary Australian theatre practice, physical theatre and comedy, screen drama, as well as teaching creative arts and play, design, storytelling, and textiles.

ADELAIDE FESTIVAL CENTRE
The Adelaide Festival Centre’s education program, centrED, provides curriculum-based arts education opportunities for primary and secondary schools, including both teachers and students. Their professional development program includes up close opportunities with the production, design and performing team of selected performances to discuss the context and developmental process of the works.

OPERA QUEENSLAND
Opera Queensland’s professional development workshop, Arts Infused, is aimed at primary and secondary school teachers, explores strategies to integrate arts activities into the day-to-day educational program of schools, so that the arts are experienced as core learning and not as extracurricular or add-on activities.

ATOM (AUSTRALIAN TEACHERS OF MEDIA)
ATOM is an independent, non-profit, professional association for Teachers of Media and Teachers who wish to use media effectively in their classroom. Their professional development workshops cover a range of areas and includes technical training in dark room, recording video and sound, editing, as well as digital photography. Also available are training sessions for the programs Photoshop, InDesign, Garage Band, Final Cut Pro and Premiere.

ACMI (AUSTRALIAN CENTRE FOR THE MOVING IMAGE)
The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates, champions and explores the moving image in all its forms - film, television, games, new media and art. Screenings, lectures and workshops are available to primary, secondary and tertiary students and teachers. Opportunities in professional development cover such areas as filmmaking, digital storytelling, contemporary art and animation, and also include screenings and seminars on key films.
