Southern Youth Theatre Ensemble is an incorporated association which offers theatrical skills development training and performance opportunities to all young people in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

SYTE enables young people to explore and realise their own artistic potential through theatre and performances training in theatre arts.

SYTE has been in operation for the past 12 years and is situated within the City of Onkaparinga Council area, at the Noarlunga Community Arts Centre.

SYTE is:

• Active in enabling young people to explore and realise their artistic potential.
• A voice for young people in the south of Adelaide.
• Innovative in educating young people in all aspects of theatre.
• Providing a high quality artistic medium for young people to express their views and to communicate effectively.
• Developing young people's self esteem and self confidence, enabling them to become more assertive about themselves and their future.
• The only fully integrated youth theatre company in South Australia which includes young people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
