Riverland Youth Theatre is one of only two rural youth theatres operating in South Australia. It has been a Riverland institution for the past 14 years as an important outlet for expression by young people.

The main aim of RYT is to give young people a voice - a means to develop their creative expression, self esteem, technical and performance skills in the context of their own community and culture.

Over the past 14 years, RYT has had over 40 productions, 1 820 performances, reaching nearly 40 000 people and involving over 5 000 Riverland youth and 10 000 supporters.
