Work Experience

Carclew Youth Arts supports work experience placements for students aged 15-18 as part of their school program. Carclew can provide a week-long placement that consists of a combination of observation and hands-on experiences.

If the student has chosen a specific area they would like to gain work experience in, they will be given their tasks by the program manager of that area and work closely with that team. Otherwise they will experience a range of activities and projects across the organisation. Each student's experience at Carclew will be different depending on programming at that time. Each placement is arranged through discussion and negotiation and we welcome enquiries.

Students will be required to work normal business hours between 9.00am - 5.00pm, however working hours will depend on program area schedules and attendance outside of those times may be part of the opportunity available.
